Seoul in Two Days
The Trip that Changes Your Life By Julie Laatsch-Kitchen
*Just like Us
They were born in Seoul, South Korea. Their Mom and Dad were born in Michigan, USA. They do not look like us, from outsider's eyes. To us they do.
They are smart, silly, goofy and a little bit crazy. So are we.
They love to explore, see new things and remember everything. So do we.
They get sick, they cry and they feel pain. So do we.
They fight like brother and sister, because they are.
We will teach them all we know, and they will teach us more.
We will live remembering how lucky we are, to have the light of day, the moon at night and the stars so bright,
But most of all we will remember,
Those who brought our babies home and those who gave them life.
*Dedicated to the mother and father of Jacob Kook Jin and Jade So Yun and WHFC, Holt.
